My name is Heather Perrigin. I began teaching at Gordo Elementary in 1996, and later became the librarian at Gordo High School in 2008. Although I am originally from Tuscaloosa, I consider Gordo my home. I have enjoyed getting to know students and their families over the years and look forward to many more years in education.
My husband, Craig, is the assistant principal at Pickens County High School. We have been married for 20 years. We live in Gordo and have two dogs, Roxie and Jenny. We enjoy spending time at the river and watching Alabama football. As a librarian, I (of course) LOVE to read!! I enjoy talking with students about what they are reading. I also enjoy traveling and have been to some really fun places.
If there is ever any way I can help you at the Gordo High School library, please feel free to contact me!
